Lorraine Borek

A long-time resident of the Arrowhead Lake Community passed away from heart failure while vacationing with her husband, Ted Borek, in Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ted Borek, and her three children, Theodore Borek III, Gregory Borek, and Christine Borek Koons.

Lorraine was active in the Arrowhead community, performing in its cabaret shows, tap dancing with the Village Tappers, and performing made-up comedy routines.

Lorraine graduated from the Halonhan High School in Philadelphia and received a BA in teaching from Muhlenberg College.

She taught 2nd and 3rd grade classes in the Allentown Catholic grade school system for twenty years.

After making the final arrangements, a memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Thornhurst, PA, in May.
