Donna was born July 22, 1952, and passed peacefully July 17, 2023, after a brave fight with cancer.  She is Preceded in death by her parents Mervin Kenneth Gorby and Doris Jean Smyth Gorby.

She graduated in 1970 from New London Highschool, New London, Ohio. Donna earned her LPN license from Providence Hospital Nursing School, Sandusky, Ohio, graduating as valedictorian in 1972.

She started her nursing career at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Ohio, then pursued a sales career in Florida specializing in home nursing care.

Donna enjoyed gardening, kayaking the intercoastal and catching lobsters in the Florida Keys with her many friends.
Donna was a member of the Moose Club and helped with many fundraising charities.

She is survived by four sisters and two brothers: Joyce (Jim) Zdanowicz, Sue (Monica) Gorby, Kelly Gorby, Renee Pfaff, Ken (Eva) Gorby and Robert (Mark) Gorby. Donna was a favourite aunt of her many nieces and nephews.

Donna has requested a private celebration of life. Her ashes and those of her beloved pet, Molly, will be taken to the Florida Keys. Where they can once again play in the sun.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation to Trustbridge Hospice who was thoughtful and caring as they guided us through her last days.
